I took my posters a step further to being the final design through the use of after effects. After a short workshop explaining the use of keyframes I worked on animating the text in two of my poster designs to be used in the final product.
These were the posters featuring repeated text on the back, however now the text wouldn't stationary and instead would appear on the screen and repeatedly move across the screen in a loop.
I came across a few problems with this, the most prominent being that I had little experience with after effects and whilst my idea was relatively simple it still had difficulties. I had to scrap the idea to have the text come in and instead make it a constant loop.
This is the finished look for the light version of this poster, there are some minor faults but they were too difficult to fix with my experience and are subtle enough to ignore.
This is the finished dark version, this was made by simply replacing colours and changing the image in center (saving time for me).
Whilst these are the final designs this isn't my final poster. I will be doing further editing to add to this and make use of some older designs and unused ideas. I also have decided to focus solely on the idea of mental health specifically the stigma and feelings of isolation. Other topics I took interest in will be used in the final project.
