Personally I am particularly interested in perspective in cinema. I've always taken a liking to cinematography and how they can use perspective to make a shot beautiful. Different directors and cinematographers have their own unique styles and take on showing perspective in their films. It can turn a good film into an amazing one, it can create iconic/memorable moments and beautiful scenes.
Wes Anderson - Single Point Perspective
Wes Anderson is a definite favourite of mine, he has one of the most unique takes on cinematography and perspective in my opinion. One of his signature styles is single point perspective, however what makes him special is his use of symmetry. Most shots in his film have the subject centered or uses the rule of thirds. He is probably my favourite example of single point perspective due to how he uses it, the only other filmmaker who has something similar is Stanley Kubrick (A huge influence on Anderson). His use of perspective creates a focal point which draws the viewer's eyes to a specific part of the frame. This is done for a few purposes such as comedic value, tension and also establishes his own brand of film making. Overall his work is my favourite example of single point perspective.
