As practice for graphic design of the propaganda I would later be designing and making, I created a trilogy of posters using randomised prompts given to us by Rob.
The first prompt was the theme of water using a flat colour poster and the font was arial black. This is a very minimalist poster using mostly shapes overlaid on each other with varied opacity. These were to represent water but gradually decreasing as they got higher on the poster. This was to represent the issue of water conservation. I used shades of blue and grey as the main poster with only yellow in the work 'conserve' to make it stand out.

The second prompt was the theme of the sky using a graphic poster and times new roman as the font. It was an odd combination but I made it work. This poster was to try and cover the topic of pollution and how it creates such beautiful sunsets, this was in order to bring awareness. Unfortunately I got cut short on time so ended with a more abstract and minimal poster.

The last prompt involved the topic of war, punk style posters and used the notorious font; comic sans. This poster was difficult to come up with an idea due to the very contrasting prompts however I managed to make it work despite these challenges. I used varied capitalisations and font sizes with a mash of colours to portray the punk style. This in combination with the specific phrases I used captured an idea of almost chaos. I also had a very direct question to make it feel as if the poster was attacking you "what you good for?" surrounded by the words "nothing". I made this to really carry a message that this poster was attacking those with alternate views.
