Today the cup got 3D printed so we finally got to see a representation of the real product. However, it unfortunately printed in the wrong colour and we lacked the time to repaint it. Thankfully the colour was one that grew on us, in the end I actually liked the orange of it in combination with the grey. Unfortunately for some reason it was too large for the base even though we measured it out in advance. This was either down to us or something went wrong in the printing process. Either way our cup didn't go according to plan in both colour and size.
I did a mini shoot with the cup, used some paper as a plain white background due to budget cuts (joking, but we had limited time so I had to improvise). I used my phone for these just so we could have some nice but simple shots to represent our cup. I took a few different angles and included some with the mockup lid we used previously in order to show how it would look completed (the lid wasn't included in the 3D print because it was too difficult to model).
