The two sides of global warming

There are two sides to the issue of global warming, that it's real or that it's fake.

Usually they believe it is nature taking its natural course and not caused by human activity.

Reasons for the idea:

Known pollutants include carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides. These are all produced heavily by different industries and by motor vehicles. It has been linked to different diseases such as cancer immune diseases, allergies, and asthma. It also has been provide to have detrimental effects on the environment, damaging the quality severely. There are multiple links to human activity.

• Pollution from man made sources

• Waste from littering and landfills

• Huge spikes in damage to the environment and climate change from human activity

• Concerning changes to the climate in areas with high pollution

• Deforestation, oil rigging and other industries have destroyed habitats and ecosystems

Reasons against the idea:

Pollution has been proved to be caused by natural disasters. One example is through hurricanes, water can be contaminated by sewage due to the hurricane. Another would be the harmful gases and smoke from eruptions and forest fires. There are also natural sources of pollution such as the organic compounds from plants, sea salt, suspended soils and dusts.

• Has been happening way before humanity

A lot of people who are against the idea of climate change are usually ignorant and not caring about the issue. Common arguments are claiming the evidence is a blatant lie, they deny the science even if it's proven. There's also the idea that if it won't happen in their lifetime it's not a problem they need to worry about. Then on the other side of the spectrum there are people who believe that the death of humanity is a good thing, it happened to the dinosaurs so we shouldn't stop the inevitable.

I then created a fake newspaper on the topic. This follows a more humourous and satirical approach, making fun of those who claim climate change isn't real without real evidence.
