Wednesday 18/12/19 - Initial Ideas

These are initial ideas I noted down in my propaganda notebook. I came up with the idea to use a mask as the center of my project, this is because it can cover a range of topics important to myself. I don't want to be limited to one issue in the world, I want to be able to cover multiple as they all feel equally important to myself. As shown in the image below the mask is meant to be human-like yet sinister, I decided on a low-poly design as it brings about a modern twist and reference to technology (Something important for a few of the issues I feel passionate about). The mask is meant to represent ideas of mental health, identity and deception. All of these break down into smaller categories, take identity as an example. This would cover personal issues to everyone such as body image, how to act in societal norms or how they are perceived. It also ties into the idea of mental health and even deception. Most of my ideas tie into one another in some way, especially through the mask.
