Monday 25/11/19 - Initial Design

This is the initial design the group have settled on, we noted down some of the sizes for when we move onto the technical drawing. This design was based on a Starbucks cup however we combined this with the style of products from companies like Apple and Google. That's why we had a very sleek but plain colour scheme. We also decided to go for a pine wood finish on the base to add a pleasing aesthetic value for the user but to also prevent electrical shocks as wood isn't a conductor. We also decided that the screen would only be on one side of the cup, this is so there are no accidental touches when holding the cup. However, as a backup there is also a fingerprint scanner to activate the screen. This will prevent accidental activation of the screen but it will also mean added security.
