This was a small shoot I did inspired by a selection of different sources such as the cyberpunk genre, the purge, and anarchy movements. I wanted to create something colourful yet dark and unsettling which is why I used coloured lights for this shoot. I did this as photography practice for future and so I could experiment with styles. We went out at night and took a bunch of photos in a nearby playground using some battery powered lights I bought and a neon light-up mask she owned. I took a variety of shots with different angles and locations. Whilst some turned out pretty good, I quickly learned that it was too dark for some photos I wanted. What I learned from this shoot was that I needed to learn about shooting at night and how to get the lighting I want. Most shots meant that you couldn't see the model and it left pretty much only the lights in view, however through this I did manage to create some shots with the unsettling atmosphere I intended.
