I had a tutorial based on the work I had done so far and to plan ahead with the project. At this moment in time I had done some experiments to get myself used to the technical aspects of using blender but also to make use of some of the influences I had at the start of this project. I also had completed a storyboard detailing the idea for the short film after doing research around suspense, cgi and atmosphere among other things.

During this tutorial the biggest realisation was how time consuming the work would be. The album cover experiments took a few days to complete overall including time spent taking a step back to think over my work and making improvements. The actual film would take a lot longer as it wouldn't be still images. After being shown some example short films from previous projects I felt a good solution would be using stills and transitions. This would essentially mean I'd pose the characters in the scene and move the camera around them. I felt this was a good solution as it downsized the work load but still helped tell a narrative. This would be a good backup plan incase the work was too much with not enough time and it played into the style of doing a one take scene as whilst the camera would move around the characters the scene would change when out of sight.

The plan was also to focus on the main aspects of the film as not everything in the storyboard was crucial, some aspects were added in mostly to enhance the narrative and build upon the suspense. This meant I was focusing on certain aspects before others. I decided to first work on the introduction scene as it was simpler to create in theory and was a crucial part of the film. Next I would spend time on the main scene, this is from around halfway in the storyboard until the end.
