This week gave me multiple opportunities to develop the ideas I've had for this project and experiment with them in terms of photography. I really felt like the storyboard was a success as it gave me a solid reference for the ideas I've been developing and helped to showcase my ideas in a clear format. I feel like the lack of a linear narrative also allows me more freedom to use the ideas not only in film but any other work that I create.
This ties well into the fashion photography and alternate image making, whilst not directly connected I felt like these really show my development of ideas into the practical format. I used the fashion photography as chance to experiment and get a look at some of the ideas from the storyboard, I then took those a step further and a full set of photographs based around this however with some changes. Overall these were a success as it gave me more practice with using photography in a darker setting (Something I've rarely done) and turned out to a surprisingly good quality, especially considering I had little to no planning.
The animation workshop on the otherhand wasn't something that I feel helped me, although it was a good opportunity to practice with something I haven't looked at in years I felt that it's not something I plan on using creatively, especially for this project. However, I feel that the idea of digital animation isn't out of the realm of possibility but it is something I'd need to look more in-depth into.
