After a seminar I was given a new idea for the final outcome, one that would incorporate the work I have done so far but also help start off my future work. For the final outcome I have made two storyboards using my test photography for the original final outcome. In these storyboards I used ideas that I have had throughout the project including the narrative and the visual aesthetic.

Before starting I looked at a range of storyboards for existing films and shows for inspiration, these are some of the key ones that I found.

I liked being able to see a comparison of the original drawing vs the final scene, especially for the one on the bottom right from the film Knives Out. It helped me to understand that it doesn't need to be perfect, I just need to portray my ideas. I found it very interesting to see how these filmmaker's ideas looked like before being made.

This first storyboard is the initial ending idea based around the photos I took, I themed it around paranoia and the feeling of being watched. This story focuses on the idea of the viewer trying to spy on this light but having the constant feeling that they are being watched themselves, in the end it is revealed, through a very ambiguous ending, that the light is causing this feeling. The light glows in a way where it feels as if it is watching the viewer. It is implied that it has a kind of sentience.

The second storyboard has a very similar start however I changed the ending, this instead looked at the viewer's obsession with seeing this light. It's all they can focus on and it ends up hurting them because they neglect everything else. Whilst I couldn't take photographs of this, I mentioned the last shot would end back at the start after a fade from white but this time the person is motionless, suggesting that this obsession caused their death.
