Friday 27/11/20 - Weekly Evaluation 3

This week was by far the most successful in my opinion, it gave me the chance to experiment with filming a short snippet of my idea. Thanks to this I now have footage that shows my concept beyond just a drawing or photograph. I ran into some issues when filming this in terms of the post production, whilst I had tried to light up the person so tit would match the background this meant the greenscreen was uneven in terms of lighting. The end product was far from perfect but, considering that this was something done with little planning and only to showcase my idea before making the full film, it turned out really well. It has given me the opportunity to show my influences and be at a good starting point for making a short film based on my altered states work.

The other film work done this week wasn't as helpful in comparison however, it wasn't useless. I got to test out filming from a POV and get a little experience with how I can play with this to portray different narratives. Overall it was still a success but didn't contribute as much towards my work and instead just gave me some more time to experiment.
