Over the year so far we have covered a variety of aspects, this is to reflect on examples of where I used these and my strengths in relation to them. This will also show how I hope to develop them.

Poster: This would be the propaganda work, I feel that my strengths lie in the ideas generation however I don't feel like the actual execution is at a level I am happy with. The process of making my final poster for the propaganda project had ways I could have improved, the graphic design of the mask could have been more refined and the text could have been more varied in the actual animation. In terms of influences for this, I looked at war posters, modern and past advertisements and examples of dystopian media.

Video and audio: The AV propaganda poster also covered this through my video editing. I feel like I just need to get more to grips with programs such as After Effects and Premiere Pro to make more use of them. I already have a lot of experience with editing but I could be a lot better with it.

Here is an example of my previous video editing experience:

This was a more comedic based experiment, I made it to test animation based video editing in combination with typography.

Photography: Most of the work I have done this year has been using photography, it's always been something I feel passionate about so I have plenty of experience. Alongside doing shoots for set work I also did some just for practice and experimentation. In terms of influence mine would be the photographer Wes Ellis, he has always been one of the most influential artists towards my work.

Research and contextual studies: I covered this through my research on various blog posts and through the lecture notes over the year.
