Tuesday 17/11/20 - Lighting Fashion Promotion

The focus behind these images was playing around with lighting and colour, followed by looking at the outcomes. I was inspired by the colourful nature of the ink blots for some of these, I first looked at how I could use complimentary colours together on the subject and later just focused on one very bright colour. Whilst I liked them as portraits I felt like they didn't really fit the theme of this project aside from the colour scheme being a very bright and unusual to see on a person.

I then switched focus to making some tests more inspired by my storyboard, I had my models choose different poses and postitions in relation to the red light and then took photos from varying angles. I prefered these as not only did we have fun experimenting different ways to position ourselves with the light but they helped to show how the ideas from my storyboard could look when actually made. The only downside was that I didn't have access to my camera at the time so a lot of quality was lost by using my phone. However, these gave me a good idea of how I wanted to portray my ideas through film and photography.
