Friday 28/2/20 - Initial Planning

Currently for this project I have thought over what I initially want to create. I want to build off of what I made for propaganda however, this time I want to refine the meaning behind it. I also want to use more of my skills however this time in a more risky format.

The idea is a short film set to music covering themes of morality, mental health and other issues related to both. This will also have a series of photos to go alongside the project.

My plan is to cover research over the issues I hope to cover to get a greater understanding of them, the technical side of this project (filming, camerawork, editing etc.) and anything else I feel necessary such as artists related.

My aim overall is to aim for a distinction in this project which means I will need to cover the following requirements:

• Analyse the requirements of a creative media production project to a very high standard.

This will be the project proposal, my reflection and my website as a whole.

• Review a range of research sources to support the project to a very high standard and interpret research to develop ideas and effectively communicate to an audience at a very high standard.

This will include contextual research, the proposal, initial development of ideas and interpretation of research.

• Apply practical skills, knowledge and understanding to complete a creative media project within an agreed time frame to a very high standard.

This will be the reflection and refinement of ideas, lecture notes, application of practical skills and the final outcomes of the project.

• Critically evaluate the project against the agreed requirements and parameters to a very high standard.

This will be my evaluation and reflection of the overall project. It will also include my daily reflections and midpoint evaluation.
